Trial of Sadyr Japarov suspended
The trial of Sadyr Japarov, an ex-deputy of the Parliament, has been suspended. The lawyers filed a cassation appeal to the Bishkek City Court on the decision of Pervomaisky District Court to leave the defendant in custody.
Lawyers representing his interests, petition for a change in his measure of restraint for house arrest.
Sadyr Japarov was detained on March 25 and placed in pretrial detention center 1. He is accused of hostage taking and hooliganism.
