Brucellosis incidence on rise in Bishkek
Incidence of brucellosis has almost doubled in Bishkek. Chief Doctor of the State Sanitary Epidemiological Supervision Center Artur Buyuklyanov told today at a press conference.
«This is a very dangerous disease, it can become chronic, which is extremely difficult to treat. People should not drink raw milk, it must be always boiled. There was a case when milk from a sick cow was brought to the capital from Kemin. 13 people got brucellosis. Often, dairy products are sold from cars. This is illegal," Artur Buyuklyanov said.
He noted that the incidence of tuberculosis, including among children, is also growing.
