Auction for sale of MegaCom to take place today
An auction for the sale of MegaCom Company will take place today. The State Property Management Fund reported.
It is noted that the starting price of the company was set at 13.5 billion soms. Those wishing to participate in the auction were to pay 10 percent of the starting price as a guarantee fee.
Winner of the auction will be a participant who offers the highest price for the object. On the day of the auction, winner signs a protocol on the outcome of the auction and undertakes to conclude a contract for the sale of the state shares within three days from the date of signing the protocol.
In case of failure or refusal of the auction winner to sign the auction protocol or the purchase and sale contract within the established period, the guarantee fee is not returned to him, and he loses the right to sign the sale contract.
Auction for the sale of Alfa Telecom did not take place twice because of the lack of applicants. During the second auction, the company’s price was 14.2 billion soms.
