Presidential election date in Kyrgyzstan to be known not later than on June 15
The deputies of the Kyrgyz Parliament must announce the date of the presidential election not later than on June 15. The member of Ata Meken faction, Almambet Shykmamatov, informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the campaign is likely to be held on October 15, therefore, according to the law, the CEC should start official registration of candidates and preparations four months before the voting day, which is June 15.
Earlier, the leader of SDPK parliamentary faction, Isa Omurkulov, told 24.kg news agency that the presidential elections could be held on the third Sunday of October.
