Court hearing on suit of Bishkek mayor against Tekebayev to resume on May 11
Court hearing on the suit of the mayor of Bishkek Albek Ibraimov against the leader of Ata Meken Omurbek Tekebayev will resume on May 11. The lawyer of the People’s Deputy Kanatbek Aziz told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the Bishkek City Court accepted the appeal. Lawyers, representing the interests of Albek Ibraimov, asked for time to become acquainted with the rationale of the defendant’s side.
The first instance court (Pervomaisky District Court) decided in favor of Albek Ibraimov, having considered the suit of the Bishkek mayor, who accused Omurbek Tekebayev of slander and demanded to recover from him 1 million soms in compensation for damage to the infringed honor and dignity.
