Tekebayev's lawyers demand to prosecute Leonid Maevsky
Lawyers of Ata Meken leader Omurbek Tekebayev demand to bring to criminal responsibility the Russian businessman Leonid Maevsky. Taaligul Toktakunova informed 24.kg news agency.
According to her, a criminal case must be opened against Leonid Maevsky, if he really gave such a large bribe — $ 1 million — to Omurbek Tekebayev. The recommendation was filed to the General Prosecutor’s Office today.
It should be noted that the criminal case against Tekebayev was opened on February 25. The next day, the politician was detained. On April 21, the court extended his term of detention in the pretrial detention centre of the GKNB until May 25.
