Kyrgyzstan prepares for 90th anniversary of Chingiz Aitmatov
President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev signed a decree on celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov. Information Support Department of the Presidential Administration reported.
According to it, the head of state ordered to mark the jubilee at a high national and international level, form an organizational committee within two months, and also work out and approve a plan for the preparation and holding of the celebrations.
Chingiz Aitmatov was born on December 12, 1928.
