According to preliminary data, the victims were at a festive event (farewell to the bride) on April 15, where they got poisoned by a low quality salad.
On April 17, eight victims turned to Bazar-Korgon territorial hospital, they were hospitalized in the infectious disease unit. Today, on April 18, other 14 people were hospitalized with signs of food poisoning. State of two patients is moderately grave, the rest are in satisfactory condition.
The remains of food and salads could not be taken for tests because of their absence.
Explanatory work on prevention of food poisoning is being carried out in the area.
