Committee for Protection of Political Prisoners to apply to UN
«We will reach the UN Committee on Human Rights," human rights activist Sapar Argynbayev told reporters today.
According to him, the Committee for the Protection of Political Prisoners will seek justice for convicted opposition members Dastan Sarygulov, Ernest Karybekov, Kubanychbek Kadyrov and Bektur Asanov. Yesterday, the Bishkek Pervomaisky District Court announced the verdict.
«We will go through all the authorities here. If we fail to achieve justice, we will file a complaint to the UN Committee," Sapar Argynbayev said.
