Bishkek plans to repair 51 city streets in 2017. This was announced today at a press conference.
It is noted that repairs have already begun on more than ten streets.
«Patching work has also already begun -on the main central streets first. The other day, we will start the others. We cannot do without patching. Overhaul hasn’t been carried out since Soviet times. If there is no repair, the cars will stand idle," the chief of the production of the Bishkeksafaltservice Zhumakadyr Alymbaev said.
Last year, 64 streets were repaired.
