State bodies to provide employer with worker’s police clearance certificate
Today, the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan adopted amendments to the Labor Code in the third reading. The document was initiated by MP Dastan Bekeshev.
The bill suggests that an authorized government agency should, within three working days, provide an employer with free information about the previous convictions of an employee or their absence.
As of today, a certificate of criminal record is issued to citizens free of charge within 10 days. If the document is needed within a day, one has to pay 230 soms for urgency.
The bill will be sent to the President for signature.
