Verdict to leaders of "People's Parliament" to be delivered after April 20
The verdict to the leaders of «People’s Parliament» and «El kunu» movement Kubanychbek Kadyrov, Bektur Asanov, Dastan Sarygulov and Ernst Karybekov will be delivered after April 20. Civil activist Adil Turdukulov told to 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the verdict must be delivered on March 22, but the trial was postponed because of the illness of the judge.
The state prosecution asked 12 years of imprisonment for Dastan Sarygulov, Bektur Asanov — 15 years, Kubanychbek Kadyrov — 16 years, Ernest Karybekov — 22 years in prison with confiscation of property.
They were arrested in 2016 on charges of attempt to forcibly seize power and espionage.
The basis for the initiation of a criminal case was the audio recording that appeared on the Internet. It recorded how the detainees divided the state posts in case of seizure of power.
