Kyrgyzstan imports 14,900 tons of agricultural products in August
Import of quarantineable agricultural products to Kyrgyzstan has reached 14,970 tons since the beginning of August. Press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
The main suppliers are Russia, Uzbekistan, China, Pakistan. Kyrgyzstan imports melons, watermelons, wheat, barley, grain and flour.
At least 227 tons of flour, 36.3 tons of melons, 2 tons of watermelons were imported to Talas region from Kazakhstan.
About 488 tons of melons, 111 tons of carrots, 282 tons of wheat were imported from Uzbekistan to Jalal-Abad region. 532 tons of fruits were brought to Batken region from Uzbekistan.
At least 326 tons of nuts were imported to Naryn region from China. 862 tons of agricultural products were also imported to the region.
About 33 acts of quarantine phytosanitary control were issued for the imported products.
