Lowest average salary among EAEU capitals is in Bishkek
The lowest average salary among the capitals of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is registered in Bishkek. Data of the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan say.
The average salary in Bishkek is $499.3. This is three times less than in Moscow, where this figure is estimated at $1,578. In Minsk, people earn $875.1 on average, and in Astana — $1,028.6.
The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan does not provide data on the capital of Armenia, Yerevan.
The average monthly salary in Kyrgyzstan is even lower. According to the results of June, it is 31,994 soms, or $366.8.
