Man kills woman in Karakol city
Police detained a suspect in the murder in Karakol city. Press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Issyk-Kul region reported.
On August 13, the police received a message from an ambulance doctor that a woman’s corpse with a stab wound was found in the house.
«Law enforcement officers identified the deceased at the scene. She turned out to be a 67-year-old resident of Issyk-Kul region. A criminal case has been initiated under the article «Murder» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. A forensic medical examination has been scheduled. A suspect was detained — a 59-year-old resident of Ak-Suu district. He fully admitted his guilt during interrogation. According to preliminary data, the murder was committed because of money. The suspect came to the woman to ask for money, a conflict broke out. As a result, he stabbed her with a knife,» the department said.
