Water Resources Service to develop irrigation in Chui region
The Water Resources Service will be engaged in the development of irrigation in Chui region of Kyrgyzstan. The public procurement portal says.
Directorate for Construction of Water Management Facilities of the service announced a tender for development of a feasibility study for «Drawing up schemes for development of irrigation in Chui region» object.
The technical design specification requires drawing up a scheme for the development of irrigation along Kegeti, Issyk-Ata, Chunkurchak, Kashka-Suu, Norus, Ala-Archa, Alamedin, Zhylamysh, Sokuluk, Aksu-2, Kara-Balta, Kaindy, Chon-Kaindy rivers.
In particular, it will be necessary to determine the current irrigation situation in the region, the flow of rivers (irrigator capacity) for accumulation and irrigation, land resources for the development and increase in water supply, the estimated storage capacity for irrigation water for the development of new irrigated lands and increasing the water supply of old irrigated lands.
It is planned to spend 46 million soms on these purposes. Work must be completed by May 1, 2024.
