Son of ex-PM Dzhoomart Otorbaev wounded in Issyk-Kul region

The son of the former head of the Cabinet was wounded with a sharp object.
«The police opened a criminal case. The suspect was detained, the case was sent to the Issyk-Kul District Court,» the sources said.
The Department of Internal Affairs of the Issyk-Kul region confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency. According to it, a 39-year-old resident of Bishkek applied to the police.
«The man told that an unknown person beat him, and wounded his 38-year-old friend with a sharp object in his right leg on July 9 at about 3.40 a.m. in Chaika guest house. Both victims were taken to the regional hospital. A criminal case has been initiated under the article «Hooliganism» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. A previously convicted resident of Cholpon-Ata village, 28, was detained» the department said.
