Traffic accident involving three cars occurs in Issyk-Kul region
Road accident involving three cars occurred in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan. The Main Traffic Safety Department reported.
According to it, the road accident occurred on August 10 at the 14th kilometer of Balykchy — Ananyevo — Karakol highway (Kyzyl-Oruk village).
According to preliminary data, the driver of Volkswagen Vento, moving to the west, drove into the oncoming lane at high speed and collided with Chevrolet and Lexus LX470 vehicles. As a result, the passenger of the Volkswagen Vento died at the scene, six more people were injured.
The evidence has been collected and the investigation is underway.
The department notes that 90 percent of traffic accidents occur through the fault of the driver, so they ask car owners not to drive into the oncoming lane, not to exceed the speed limit and follow the traffic rules.
