17,900 packs of cigarettes for 1.8 million soms confiscated from Batken resident
Employees of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) for Batken region found and confiscated packs of cigarettes without excise stamps worth 1.8 million soms from a resident of Kara-Bak village. Press service of the state committee reported.
The Batken District Court heard the criminal case and found the defendant guilty of committing a crime under Article 239 (turnover of products subject to mandatory excise taxation, without excise stamps or means of identification) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He was fined 100,000 soms, 17,960 packs of cigarettes were confiscated to the state revenue.
