Beating of taxi driver: Embassy of Kyrgyzstan sends note to Russian MFA
The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Russia sent a note to the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry on the fact of beating a taxi driver in Moscow. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Attack on the taxi driver occurred on July 18. However, the injured compatriot did not apply to the embassy.
Since the video was published on social media, the embassy has been working to identify and search for the citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Communication has been reportedly established with the victim, who is being provided with the necessary consular and legal assistance. All necessary measures are being taken to protect the rights and interests of the injured compatriot. An official note from the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation was sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The issue was taken under control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the embassy.
