Attack on teenagers in Bishkek: SCNS detains three nationalists
The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) detained three guys for inciting ethnic hatred. Press center of the SCNS reported.
Information was received that an illegal group of nationalists was operating in the capital and Chui region, carrying out illegal actions against people of Asian nationality. At the same time, they film their illegal actions and publish them on social media. Members of the nationalist group use fascist symbols in their publications.
A criminal case was initiated under Article 330 «Inciting racial, ethnic, national, religious inter-regional hatred (discord)» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Later, three members of the group, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, residents of Bishkek and Chui region, were detained.
The detainees were placed in the temporary detention center of the SCNS.
Investigative and operational measures are being taken to identify and detain other possible members of the nationalist group. People affected by the actions of these persons are asked to contact the helpline of the SCNS +996312660475.
Earlier, the Central Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek reported that three underage guys were brought to the investigation service in connection with the attack on teenagers in Bishkek.
