Japan expands list of cars prohibited for import into Russia
Japan has expanded the list of cars prohibited for import into Russia. Sirena Telegram channel reported.
From August 9, Japan will prohibit the import of cars with an engine capacity of more than 1.9 liters, hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as yachts, railway locomotives and trains into the Russian Federation.
Restrictions are introduced on the supply of car locks, car seats and truck tires. Supply of plywood, wood pulp and waste paper will be limited.
The ban also applies to cement, stone, asphalt, ceramic tiles and blocks, glass products, certain steel, copper, nickel, aluminum, lead, zinc products, as well as wool, cotton, artificial fabrics, knitwear, yarn, wadding, used clothing, dyes, photographic or cinematographic material.
