Women should be involved in politics, 12 percent of Kyrgyzstanis believe
At least 12 percent of citizens of Kyrgyzstan believe that women can realize their potential in politics. Results of the national survey conducted by the International Republican Institute say.
The survey was conducted from May 5 to May 25, 2023. It involved 1,492 Kyrgyzstanis aged 18 and older.
According to the majority of respondents (63 percent), women should be employed in the field of education. About 58 percent believe that women can realize their potential as housewives, 56 percent think that they can fulfil themselves in health care.
Seven percent of respondents leave the civil sector and NGOs to women, and six percent — diplomacy and international relations. According to 18 percent of respondents, women should be involved in business.
