25 million soms to be spent on monument to Manas
It is planned to spend 25 million soms on the manufacture of a monument to Manas. The public procurement portal says.
The competition was announced by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy. The price includes transportation and its installation on site in Astana. Work must be completed by September 30.
In December 2022, the Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Altynbek Maksutov presented a draft sketch of the monument by sculptor Urustombek Pazylov and architect Ulan Beishenbaev to the President Sadyr Japarov.
