Size of temporary disability allowance doubled in Kyrgyzstan
Size of temporary disability allowance has been doubled in Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration reported.
The ministry noted that in case of illness, 100 percent of salary is paid for the first 10 days, and from the 11th working day — 10,000 soms (100 calculated rates) at the expense of the employer. Previously, after 10 days, Kyrgyzstanis were paid only 5,000 soms (50 calculated rates).
Citizens working in the high mountains and remote hard-to-reach areas are paid the allowance in the amount of full salary, i.e. 100 percent of wages for all working days.
The basis for payment of the allowance is a temporary disability certificate.
