Migrants get assistance in receiving unpaid salaries of 14 million rubles
Labor migrants from Kyrgyzstan were helped to receive unpaid wages in the amount of 14 million rubles for six months. Press service of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration reported.
Since the beginning of the year, the representative office in Moscow has received 245 appeals on wages not paid to labor migrants from the Kyrgyz Republic by Russian employers.
«Following the results of the activities carried out by the staff of the representative office (visits, negotiations, appeals to the prosecutor’s office and law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation), 193 Kyrgyzstanis received their wages. The total amount of payments reached 14,014,800 rubles,» the Ministry of Labor said.
