Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan intend to jointly host FIFA World Cup
Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan intend to jointly host the FIFA World Cup. The head of the Football Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Adilet Barmenkulov said.
He came up with the initiative to hold the 2034 FIFA World Cup in the country together with Uzbekistan, Championat.asia reports.
The proposal was put forward during a summit with the participation of officials of the football associations of the Turkic-speaking countries of Central Asia, which was held in Kyrgyzstan.
It is noted that friendly relations between the Football Federations of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have reached a new level in recent years thanks to holding of friendly matches between the national teams and football clubs.
