Kyrgyzstanis organize channel for smuggling of medicines into Uzbekistan
Citizens of Kyrgyzstan smuggled prescription drugs and exported them to Uzbekistan. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
According to it, Kyrgyzstani voluntarily gave the special services «Zardeks» drug (made in India) in the amount of 9,600 pieces in Markaz village, Kadamzhai district, the cost of which on the black market in Uzbekistan is $288,000.
«During a search at the place of residence of organizer of the channel, Tropicamide medicines (eye drops) were seized. The amount of damage was about 5,867 million soms. The seized drugs were smuggled into Kyrgyzstan without permits. They planned to be sent to Uzbekistan. The citizen was placed in a temporary detention center,» the state committee reported.
