Kyrgyzstanis to be able to work in Japan as “employees with certain skills”
Kyrgyzstanis will be able to work in Japan with the status of stay «employee with certain skills». Press service of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The corresponding memorandum was signed by the minister Kudaibergen Bazarbaev with the Ministries of Justice, Foreign Affairs, Health, Labor and Welfare and the National Police Agency of Japan.
«The document determines proper functioning of the system relating to foreign labor resources with the residence status of «employee with certain skills». Until today, citizens of Kyrgyzstan could only work in the category of «technical trainees». Conclusion of the memorandum will strengthen the relationship between the Kyrgyz Republic and Japan and bring them to a new level of development,» the Ministry of Labor noted.
According to Kudaibergen Bazarbaev, the status of «worker with certain skills» increases the opportunities for Kyrgyzstanis to legally find employment in Japan.
To date, personnel are already being trained for work in Japan on the basis of a trilateral cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Labor, the IBS Professional Union of Japan and the Institute of Japanese Studies at the Arabaev Kyrgyz State University.
