Relative of President Sadyr Japarov detained for corruption
Ulan Japarov, a relative of President Sadyr Japarov, was detained in Bishkek. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.
32-year-old Ulan Japarov, a native of Ken-Suu village, Issyk-Kul region, was placed in the pretrial detention center 1 in Bishkek.
«According to preliminary data, a criminal case was initiated under the article «Corruption» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The case is being investigated by the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,» the sources said.
The Pervomaisky District Court of the capital confirmed to 24.kg news agency that U. Zh. was taken into custody by a court order until July 26.
According to the sources, he is the son of Rakymzhan Japarov, the cousin of Sadyr Japarov.
