RKDF assets frozen in EU: Three ministers leave for talks
Three ministers at once — of economy and commerce, finance and justice — left for Brussels for negotiations with the EU officials. Own sources in the departments confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
The assets of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) will be discussed with the EU. As of today, they are frozen on the accounts of the Belgian financial institution Euroclear Bank S.A./N.V.
It is known that the delegation left for Belgium on June 18 and is still there.
The RKDF is not yet available for comment. There were no official reports about the visit of Daniyar Amangeldiev, Almaz Baketayev and Ayaz Baetov to Brussels either.
