Fight against smog: Ecologists propose to create energy efficiency fund
MoveGreen proposes to create an energy efficiency fund to combat smog. Azhar Baisalova, manager of the organization, told about this at a round table.
She noted that energy efficiency is one of the priorities in the fight against air pollution.
«If private households are insulated, they will use less energy for heating and there will be less emissions into the atmosphere,» the expert said.
Azhar Baisalova added that private households are already engaged in insulation of their houses, but not at a pace that would significantly improve the air situation.
«Vulnerable segments of the population cannot afford insulation. Therefore, we are talking about the need to create an energy efficiency fund,» she added.
