82 citizens of Kyrgyzstan serving their sentences in Kazakhstan
At least 82 citizens of Kyrgyzstan are serving their sentences in Kazakhstan. Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Kazakhstan Dastan Dyushekeyev announced at a meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, 63,808 Kyrgyzstanis live in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and 45,000-50,000 of them live in the southern part of the country. About 22,500 people are registered with the consular service. At least 15,000 of them violated the terms of stay in the country.
The committee decided to hear information about the activities of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Kazakhstan behind closed doors.
