Case against Zhenish Razakov: Former deputy PM placed under house arrest
The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek changed the preventive measure for the former deputy prime minister of Kyrgyzstan Zhenish Razakov. Press service of the court reported.
Investigator of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs filed a petition to change the measure of restraint. The suspect was placed under house arrest until the end of the investigation — until June 24.
Recall, Zhenish Razakov is suspected of fraud. He was detained and then placed in the remand center 1 in Bishkek. According to investigators, the former deputy prime minister gained trust of the ex-deputy of Parliament Arzybek Burkhanov, and then, using his official position, under the guise of doing business, took $1 million from him and did not give it back.
