Meat production increases by 2,100 tons in Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan has produced 158,100 tons of meat in live weight since the beginning of the year, which is 2,165 tons, or 1.4 percent more than last year. Press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
Meat production increased in all regions of the republic, except for Batken, where it decreased by 6.3 percent.
The main reason for the decline in meat production in the region is a decrease in the number of cattle by 9,155 heads, small cattle — by 67,292 heads and horses — by 376 heads.
