International Sports Festival starts in Issyk-Kul region
The VII International Sports Festival Pearl of Kyrgyzstan will be held from June 16 to July 3 on the shores of Issyk-Kul lake. Its organizers reported on Instagram.
This year, competitions will be held in 25 sports, such as grappling, kickboxing, mas-wrestling, Muay Thai, taekwondo, judo, sambo, ordo, alysh kurosh, Kung Fu, basketball, karate, pencak silat, arm wrestling, mini — football and others.
Athletes will compete for about 3,000 sets of medals and 150 championship belts.
The festival was first held in 2016.
The main goal of Pearl of Kyrgyzstan Festival is the development of sports and tourism in the country.
