Six wells to be drilled in Bishkek for irrigation of green spaces
It is planned to build and drill six new wells for supply of irrigation water to dry and low-water areas of the city. Press service of the Bishkek City Hall reported.
The new objects will appear at the intersection of Profsoyuznaya and Narvskaya, Tolstoy and Logvinenko, Zhayil Baatyr and Chortekov, Akhunbaev and Kok-Zhangak, Auezov and Ankara streets and in Theater mini park.
«At the moment, drilling of a new well has begun on Profsoyuznaya Street. Its depth will be 120 meters, capacity — 65 cubic meters of water per hour (17 liters per second). Thanks to this well, Profsoyuznaya Street will be completely irrigated on both sides of the road,» the City Hall noted.
