Smuggled cigarettes worth 55 million soms seized in Bishkek
A batch of smuggled cigarettes worth 55 million soms was seized in Bishkek. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
«Employees of the Main Criminal Search Department and the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs found out that contraband goods were stored in the warehouses located on Fuchik Street — cigarettes of various types without excise stamps. The goods were transported for sale to different points of the capital, including Bereket shopping center. A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of a crime under Article 222 «Money laundering» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic,» the statement says.
