Entrepreneurs who open tourist facilities proposed to be exempted from taxes
It is proposed to exempt entrepreneurs who build new tourist facilities from taxes in Kyrgyzstan. The Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism Kiyal Kenzhematova told at a briefing.
According to her, there is a shortage of places to accommodate tourists in the regions.
«There is a proposal to exempt businessmen who build tourist facilities from taxes, at least for the first three years. I hope we will be able to do this from 2024. The minister himself supported this initiative,» Kiyal Kenzhematova said.
She cited Uzbekistan as an example, where such exemptions are provided for up to five years.
