Two people detained for attempt to take $80,000 out of Kyrgyzstan
The border guards of Dostuk-Avtodorozhny checkpoint prevented the fact of illegal transportation of a large amount of money across the border. The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCNS) reported.
A citizen of the Russian Federation and a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, heading for Uzbekistan, arrived at Dostuk-Avtodorozhny checkpoint.
They had $80,000 ($40,000 each), which were found during border control.
The detainees and the money were handed over to the employees of the competent authorities for further investigation.
