Kyrgyz artisans to present their works at festival in Makhachkala
Works by artisans from Kyrgyzstan will be presented at the Festival of Folk Arts and Crafts in Makhachkala, scheduled for October. Administration of the head of Dagestan reported on Telegram.
Deputy Minister of Tourism of Dagestan Anna Bezrukova and the President of the Craft Council of Kyrgyzstan Association, member of the AISBL World Crafts Council Nurzat Jeenbek kyzy held a meeting during which they agreed on partnership in the field of folk arts and crafts.
«During the talks, the parties reached an agreement on mutual cooperation and holding joint events. The Craft Council of Kyrgyzstan will take part in the festival of folk arts and crafts, which will be held in October 2023 in Makhachkala. It will present an exposition of the traditional culture of the Kyrgyz Republic at the event,» the statement says.
