Construction of Asman will begin at the end of June - Sadyr Japarov
Construction of Asman city in Issyk-Kul region will begin on June 30 this year. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov announced during the opening ceremony of a new park.
According to him, the project of the city of the future is ready.
«On June 30, God willing, we will lay the capsule. Construction will begin. The city will be designed for 500,000-700,000 inhabitants. It will be built by external investors. Kyrgyzstan will not spend a single tyiyn. We don’t have funds for construction of a new city,» Sadyr Japarov said.
He also appealed to the adult generation to tell the youth not to ask investors for money. «There should not be such incidents when someone comes out against construction of the city and asks for a million dollars for consent. Explain it to the guys. Ask them not to do this,» the head of state said.
Sadyr Japarov opened a new park in Cholpon-Ata on Tuesday evening.
