Cold water tariff to be increased in Bishkek from June 1
The cold water tariff will be increased in Bishkek from June 1. The decision was made at a session of the Bishkek City Council.
The population will pay 10.45 soms (excluding taxes) for 1 cubic meter of water, budgetary organizations — 12.95 soms, other consumers — 18.5 soms, for wastewater disposal — 3.45 soms, 4.5 soms and 9 soms, respectively.
As for the maintenance of intra-house public water supply and sewerage networks in multi-apartment residential buildings (per 1 square meter of total area per year, excluding taxes), the population will pay 15.1 soms, other consumers located in multi-apartment residential buildings — 15.1 soms.
The last time the tariff was increased was in November 2019. Then it was increased 1.5 times: from 5.38 to 8.1 soms per cubic meter of water. As for the wastewater disposal, it was almost doubled — from 1.2 soms to 2.3 soms.
