Lithuania interested in supplies of steel, cotton, oil products from Kyrgyzstan
A Kyrgyzstan — Lithuania Business Forum was held in Bishkek. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Kyrgyz and Lithuanian entrepreneurs presented their companies. Lithuanian business showed interest in the supply of steel products, petroleum products, fertilizers, grain crops, cotton, feed additives, chemical products for light and other industries, as well as fabrics from Kyrgyzstan.
Lithuania is ready to export diesel locomotives, compressors, wastewater treatment equipment, food products, and pharmaceuticals.
In addition, the republic can also provide advice on fish farming and modern technologies for the use of agricultural machinery and solar technologies.
As a result of the business forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
The trade turnover between Lithuania and Kyrgyzstan reached €372 million in 2022.
