More than 11 billion soms returned to budget: Interview with Kamchybek Tashiev
Over the past two years, corrupt officials have returned more than 11 billion soms to the budget. The head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) Kamchybek Tashiev said in an interview with journalists.
According to him, the amount of money received from the fight against bribery did not reach 200 million soms in 2020.
«For two years, we have collected more than 11 billion soms. Neither the state nor the intelligence services have collected so much money before. All this money came from the fight against corruption,» Kamchybek Tashiev said.
Earlier, the head of the State Committee for National Security announced the second stage of the declared fight against corruption, grave and especially grave crimes. According to Kamchybek Tashiev, now, along with the compensation for damage caused by a corrupt official, all property owned by the accused will be seized.
