MP demands to close online casino offices in Kyrgyzstan
MP Marlen Mamataliev demanded to check and close the offices of Ringo Trade brokerage company in Kyrgyzstan. He announced this at a meeting of the Parliament.
The deputy demonstrated how an online casino works at the meeting.
«Today, in the same way, hundreds of our citizens openly enter the casino, make bets and suffer. I went to the south and saw with my own eyes how the people suffer. They take TVs out of the house, take mothers’ jewelry and sell it. Cars and houses are pledged,» Marlen Mamataliev said.
He mentioned Ringo Trade as an example of an online casino.
«They opened an institution legally under the guise of Forex, an exchange, an investment broker. They have offices in 10 locations in Bishkek, two in the city of Osh, and one — in Kara-Suu district. They work openly and torture the people. What does State Service for Regulation over the Financial Market, Ministry of Digital Development do? They should block such websites. Offices must be closed. This is a scam. Fraud,» Marlen Mamataliev said.
Recall, the President Sadyr Japarov signed the law on casinos on June 30, 2022. At the same time, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic cannot be clients of gambling establishments.
