Kyrgyzstan takes second place in EAEU in terms of inflation
Following the results of April, Kyrgyzstan took the second place among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in terms of inflation. The National Statistical Committee provided such data.
Prices and tariffs in the Kyrgyz Republic have increased by 3.4 percent since the beginning of the year. The rate is higher in Kazakhstan — 4.2 percent. The lowest inflation rate was registered in Armenia, where prices grew only by 0.9 percent. The rate reached 3 percent in Belarus and 2.1 percent — in Russia.
«The prices of food products and non-food products have increased the most in Kazakhstan (5 percent and 3.8 percent respectively). At the same time, the maximum increase in prices of services (4.4 percent) was registered in Belarus,» the National Statistical Committee reported.
