COVID-19: One case registered in Kyrgyzstan for week
One case of coronavirus was registered in Kyrgyzstan for a week from May 1 to May 8. The Department of Disease Prevention, State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision reported.
According to the department, no patients were hospitalized.
A total of 22,141 cases of COVID-19 were registered in Kyrgyzstan in 2022 and since the beginning of 2023, of which 91 percent were laboratory-confirmed and 9 percent were clinically and epidemiologically confirmed.
The head of the World Health Organization announced the end of the COVID-19 as a global health emergency. However, WHO calls for conclusions to prepare humanity for new viruses and outbreaks.
