Travel to Uzbekistan with ID card: Parliament approves agreement
The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan in three readings adopted the draft law on ratification of the protocol on amendments to the agreement between the Government of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of Uzbekistan on mutual travel of citizens dated October 3, 2006, signed on January 27, 2023 in Bishkek.
The document provides that citizens of both countries will be able to cross the border by presenting an ID card, and persons under 16 — an international passport.
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the agreement on Tuesday.
