Akylbek Japarov meets with President of Uzbekistan
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov, as part of his working visit to Uzbekistan, met with the President of the country Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the sidelines of the II Tashkent International Investment Forum.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the parties discussed topical issues of further development of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations of strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to supporting joint business initiatives and promising investment projects, establishing cooperation in the economic, industrial, transport, logistics and agricultural sectors.
Akylbek Japarov noted with satisfaction the results of active work on the implementation of the agreements reached in accordance with the adopted joint roadmap. As an example he mentioned the recent opening of the Osh State Academic Uzbek Music and Drama Theater named after Babur.
In turn, Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed wide opportunities for further development of the practical partnership between the two states and saturation of the interaction agenda with specific projects.
